UNGP for SDGs was honoured to attend the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination event hosted by York Regional Police. This gathering brought together community members, organizations, and leaders to reaffirm our collective commitment to equality, inclusion, and dignity for all.
While our participation was modest, we deeply value the opportunity to stand in solidarity with those promoting anti-racism and human rights — principles that align closely with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, especially SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities and SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions.
We extend our appreciation to York Regional Police for leading this important initiative and for fostering a community grounded in respect and unity.
